The Hochries Surgical Clinic’s status

The Hochries Surgical Clinic is a private clinic with official accreditation in compliance with § 30 GeweO (German industrial code).

We are not subject to the provisions of the German federal hospitalization fees regulations and are not bound by any contracts with health insurance providers.

As a rule, our treatment is delivered on a "private" basis, meaning that patients receive a bill after their treatment has been completed that they can submit to their health insurance provider for reimbursement.

The "GOAe" (German official regulations for physicians’ fees) and "the lump-sum-fee-per-case catalogue", valid nation-wide in Germany for medical care in hospitals by attending physicians, form the basis for billing.

All costs are plus legal VAT.

Patients sign an agreement on fees prior to the initiation of treatment.
